Now, more than ever, the possibility of generating a recurring income without needing to clock into an office daily is becoming an everyday reality. The problem is that everyone wants to start an online business these days. Yet, very few people succeed at it. Why is this? Well, it's down to several reasons. First, they don't have the required skill sets in sectors like marketing. They believe they can figure it out and neglect to learn the essentials. Secondly, because everyone wants to start an online business, the market has become incredibly saturated.

Unless you know how to create an irresistible offer, find the right products, and market more effectively than your competition, you will always fall short. So, how do we overcome these hurdles and succeed in online business? The answer is to follow in the footsteps of someone who has done it. Not some internet guru that's trying to sell you a dream. But a person who's genuinely grown six figures plus businesses online from the ground up.

My name is Steven Jackson, and this is the story of how I went from bankrupt to a successful internet entrepreneur in a few years. For over twenty years, I had built my building maintenance company from a one-person operation into a 250-employee company. I was proud of what I'd achieved, made decent money, and owned four apartment complexes with nearly 100 units. My dreams had finally become a reality.

However, I was about to learn one golden business lesson, no amount of school, training, or experience can prepare you for the worst. You can't control the economy. In 2008 the banks started shutting down, and loans were being approved and reneged on; mortgage loans often accelerated for no reason. Here's where my problems began.

The apartment complexes I owned were purchased using commercial loans. The lenders accelerated my mortgage payments to a higher rate making my monthly payments much higher. That wasn't the end of it, though. Most of my renters had subsidized rent payments, and the payer of the payments decreased the amount they paid. By this point, I was paying out more than I was getting.

My hopes and dreams come crashing into one swift hurricane of financial ruin. I'd recently sold my building maintenance business to focus on real estate full-time. There was no way out! Eventually, I lost everything—a total of over three million. I thought my future was over, and I was doomed to a life of poverty.

Until I met my online mentor, he made great money online, so I listened closely. He built everything for me, such as websites and sales funnels, and sure enough, I started making money again shortly after. It wasn't a lot, but it was a start. I have replaced the income I lost from my financial meltdown with my online business.

The best part is that it is a recurring income. Sales flow daily, and I can take a step back whenever I want. There's no huge company to run, no high number of employees to lead. Just a little regular maintenance, and the money pours in constantly.
